Al Shoumoukh Group History
Shoumoukh Group was established in 1989, with a handful of employees in an office located in the city of Abu Dhabi. Our Chairman Dr. Ali quickly realized that more office and yard space was required in order to fulfill his vision, and further built our facilities in ICAD 1, in Mussafah the industrial area of Abu Dhabi.
With warehouses, workshops and machine shops in place, our company has over the years grown into a well experienced and reputed Corporation in the UAE and the Middle East. From starting with importing and trading Oilfield Chemicals, our business activities has evolved into all major areas for supporting the Oil and Gas industry, Ranging from manufacturing and supply of equipment and services, General trading and EPC contracting, information technology, as well as Manpower consultancy, training and Company representation.
Today our Group consists of over 40 regional and Global Companies. With a strong Management team and more than 500 employees in Abu Dhabi, we are well equipped to take on new challenges, in a forever changing Energy sector and Oil and Gas environment. We take pride in our history and local culture, and in combination with a strong vision of regional and international growth and business perspective, we have established an organization with strong local roots, and with a global vision for sourcing new solutions and technology for our customers.

The Alshoumoukh experience covers Engineering and Project Management Services, Technical Assistance Services, HSE and Operations & Maintenance Services to the Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power and Desalination Industries, and Integrated Field Services to the Upstream and downstream Industry. Through our business activities, expertise have been involved in major onshore and offshore developments and at drilling/production installations in UAE, GCC, The Middle East, and Africa. Working with many of the major operators and contractors. From exploration to refinery, storage to distribution, plant upgrades to new projects, we have the expertise to help in your success.
We offer a wealth of experience in supporting oil and gas companies and are one of the leading providers of the industry support. Our work in the energy sector dates back to the early 1990’s, and we have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. We offer products and services such as; pipeline lying, pigging, rig inspections, maintenance, well completion casing running services, commissioning and decommissioning and turnaround and are able to provide guaranteed results.
Using the technology and the automated systems does bring notable benefits in personnel safety and it has major economic advantages. The Group boasts a wide experience in the realization of important and complex marine projects and works. A number of projects have been successfully completed throughout the area, including numberless interventions, among which are; Fiber Optic Cable Burial 2.4Km by OTTER Water Jet Machine, Internal Seawater Pipeline Inspection, Re-Installment, UWILD, MODU, BV, Classification MPI Sub Sea + Surface 5 projects Drilling Rigs, 5 Projects UWILD ABS Class Abu Dhabi U.A.E.
Furthermore, we can provide comprehensive solutions including; special foundation works and shore protection, diving services, off-shore excavations and dredging, reinforced concrete civil and structural work any works are planed and realized using state-of-the-art technologies and equipment, ensuring environment protection and complying with the requirements set by local authorities.
On the supply side our expertise lies on supplying all kind of equipment, from OCGT, line pipe, chemical, and any equipment needed for the industry. Our manufacturing experience comes from our JV with reliable partners who have many years of manufacturing oil and gas equipment

The Future Forum for Arab Investments announced that the Emirati businessman, Dr. Ali Al Amiri, Chairman and Founder of Al Shoumoukh Group for Oil Pipeline Industry Services, was awarded his first annual award, by choosing him (Arab Industrialist for the year 2020).

Over the years, Al Shoumoukh Group has achieved great milestones and have become a major player in the Oil & Gas Services and Supplies Industry in the region. It’s been 30 years since it’s establishment in 1989 and in November 2019 we celebrated it’s 30th Anniversary.
